Shruti Haasan: Social media has benefitted me a lot
Instead of surrendering to the trolls and the negativity on social media platforms, Shruti Haasan says that networking websites have benefitted her a lot in many ways
Bollywood celebrities have time and again blamed the social media for a lot of negativity and trolling. However, here’s Shruti Haasan who has a different take about the networking platforms. “Social media is wonderful, we can easily connect with fans through the medium. I have benefitted a lot from it. Sometimes it does go overboard but like everything else in life, it is up to you as to how you choose to balance it,” says the actress. Shruti was recently trolled for gaining weight and a lip job rumours too. She has apparently put on the oodles for her role of Binny in her upcoming release ‘Behen Hogi Teri’. Retorting to all her critics in just one-liner, Shruti adds, “Do what you do and I will keep doing what I do.”
