Shruti Haasan’s upcoming release, ‘Sangamithra’ will be announced at the opening night of the 70th Cannes Film Festival. The celebrity actress plays the titular role of a warrior princess in the film and has started work on combat training for her character. ‘Sangamithra’ will be directed by Sundar C and will be made in three languages – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The entire cast and crew of ‘Sangamithra’, Sundar, Arya, Jayam Ravi, Shruti Haasan, producers Narayanan Ramasamy and Hema Rukmani, and production designer Sabu Cyril will reportedly make an appearance on May 18 at the Cannes Film Festival, when the movie will be announced.
