Shilpa Shetty’s father, Surendra Shetty passed away this morning due to cardiac arrest. A doting daughter, Shilpa Shetty was often seen in the company of her father Surendra Shetty. Surendra Shetty suffered a heart attack in his sleep and the family soon rushed him to the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in suburban Mumbai. The doctors tried their best to save the life of Surendra Shetty but could do little, stated a report on Bollywoodlife. Shilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty are bereaved in this difficult moment. Apart from the two daughters, Surendra Shetty is survived by wife Sunanda Shetty. The last rites of Surendra Shetty, Shilpa Shetty’s father, may be held today, on the pious day of Dussehra.
