Celebrity Father Shahid Kapoor is of the view that he will support daughter Misha in anything that she wants to do with her life, if she doesn’t want to enter Bollywood

A doting father, Bollywood’s celebrity dad Shahid Kapoor has slowly started sharing videos and photographs of his eight-month-old daughter Misha. And while most star kids follow their parents into Bollywood, Shahid is open to her exploring new horizons. “Misha is just eight months old. I wish she does what she enjoys. Whatever she wants to do, I will love her, support her and expect her to work hard. As parents we must support and encourage our kids, our thoughts must not burden the child. My happiness lies is in her happiness,” says Shahid. The ‘Udta Punjab’ actor further adds a word of advice on parenting, “We as parents need to understand that kids are born through you but your right on them is limited, after that, it is their life. My parents have always told me to do whatever my heart says. They told me it was not necessary to follow their footsteps and jump into acting. There have never been any restrictions or expectations.” Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput became parents to Misha in August last year.
