Shah Rukh Khan calls accidental death at Vadodara unfortunate

Celeb and cinema world star, Shah Rukh Khan indulged in ‘Raees’ promotions with great gusto. But his latest publicity outing had a saddening accident. The Bollywood actor was travelling in August Kranti Rajdhani Express train, which was greeted with fans thronging many stations on the way. Reports state that one person named Farid Khan passed away at Vadodara station while two policemen were injured in the mishap due to overcrowding. Farid Khan died due to suffocation. Reacting to this unfortunate accident at the Vadodara railway station, Shah Rukh Khan says, “We started the journey thinking we all will travel and will spend time with each other. But when one of your own loses someone in a trip like this, it saddens us all. One of our colleagues (Samina Shaikh) was traveling with us. Her uncle came down to see her at Baroda. He had a cardiac arrest. It was really unfortunate. We have some of our people with his family members there. Hopefully, God will bless her soon. On behalf of everyone, our prayers and blessings are with the whole family. I have spoken with our colleague and she has reached there. The burial will soon be done.” The actor safely reached Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station in New Delhi today morning.

Farid Khan’s niece and journalist by profession, Samina Shaikh urged everyone to not target Shah Rukh Khan for his uncle’s coincidental death, while also condoling this incident. “It’s unfortunate that my uncle passed away. But without having a second thought, SRK helped us instantly. Don’t drag him. He has no role to play in this. Shah Rukh Khan cannot be held responsible,” said Samina.

Away from the accidental death due to suffocation, Shah Rukh Khan’s fans thronged all the railway stations where August Kranti Rajdhani was to stop to catch a glimpse of their favourite Bollywood celebrity. SRK’s bodyguards escorted the Bollywood actor safely away from the maddening crowd and fans, who just wouldn’t stop clicking Shah Rukh Khan’s pictures with their phones.
