Akshay Kumar is not just a successful Bollywood actor, but also the celebrity who manages to churn out the maximum number of movies every year! Akshay Kumar’s almost all Bollywood projects are high-budget and major mainstream masala films. Revealing just how he manages to be a part of so many big projects simultaneously, celeb of the cinema world Akshay Kumar says, “It is not rocket science. You just keep on working. I don’t think a film should take more than 60 days. So it is basically just that everyone comes on time and work hard. I was reading about Hollywood flick ‘Mission Impossible’. They made the whole film in 52 days flat. So I don’t know why we keep talking about 300 to 400 days to shoot a Bollywood film. Movies are made in maximum 70 days, after that what more do you want to shoot?”

Akki’s second Bollywood release of the year will be a light hearted comedy ‘Housefull 3’. Akshay completed his part of the shooting in just 38 days and was happy to get ‘Housefull 3’ as his comic relief. “I feel relieved doing comedy. A year has passed by during which I have done very intense films like ‘Airlift’ and ‘Holiday’. So it was fun doing ‘Housefull 3’. There were times when I wouldn’t listen to Sajid-Farhad (director duo Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji) and just wanted to do my own thing. I used to give one take which they wanted and another the way I wanted,” concludes Akshay jokingly.
