TV’s king of comedy, JD Majethia may be back with ever popular yesteryear TV show ‘Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai’, as its cast promises some good news soon. Will they do a second season?

‘Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai’ was one of the most memorable TV shows a decade ago. The cast of this popular comedy serial recently reunited at Satish Shah, aka Indravadan Sarabhai’s residence. Present at the get-together were Rupali Ganguly (Monisha) Naseeruddin Shah with wife Ratna Pathak Shah (Maya), Sumeet Raghavan (Saahil) and Rajesh Kumar (Rosesh) along with ‘Sarabhai’s’ producer Jamnadas Majethia, known as JD.
The entire ‘Sarabhai’ gang posed for a picture, shared by JD Majethia on Twitter as he promised some good news. “Sarabhai family at Satishji’s place. Some good news for fans on its way,” said Majethia. The tweet seems to hint at a comic comeback of the epic TV show and has obviously got fans very excited. Who wouldn’t want a second season of the already hit comedy after all?
Apart from planning a surprise with ‘Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai’ team, JD Majethia recently started off with his new daily TV show on SAB TV titled ‘Khidki’, which is giving an insight into quirky real life incidences every week.
Majethia remained unavailable to talk about the second season of ‘Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai’ as our messages to him went unanswered.
