Salman Khan’s production house Salman Khan Films (SKF) launched two newcomers, Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, in 2015 with ‘Hero’. The film bombed at the Box Office, taking with it the careers of the two star kids down. However, SKF is prepping to launch yet another new face, with casting director Mukesh Chhabra on the lookout for a female actress in the age group of 20-25 years. Salman Khan is planning to give a big launch pad to brother-in-law Aayush Sharma by producing a movie for him. But it remains to be seen if Arpita Khan Sharma’s 26-year-old husband gets a newbie cast opposite him or an established biggie.
For now, Salman Khan Films is rumoured to produce Remo D’Souza’s dance film starring Sallu, although a formal announcement on the same is still awaited. In the meantime, Salman and Jacqueline Fernandez will begin shooting for ‘Race 3’ with the same director. SKF started off with a successful ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ in 2015, following up with the debacle of ‘Hero’ and ‘Tubelight’ in 2017.
