Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D’Souza welcome second baby boy on Global Day of Parents

Genelia D’Souza gave birth to hers and Riteish Deshmukh’s second child, a boy, on early Wednesday morning. Coincidentally, June 1 is also celebrated as Global Day of Parents

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza became proud parents for second time as Genelia gave birth to a baby boy. Genelia, who had been flaunting her baby bump about town, delivered a boy on the early morning of Wednesday, June 1. The day is also celebrated as the Global Day of Parents worldwide. A proud father, Riteish Deshmukh took to Twitter to announce this special moment in one of the most adorable manners. With a snap of their elder son Riaan, Riteish wrote, “Hey guys, my Aai and Baba just gifted me a little brother. Now all my toys are his – Love, Riaan.”

 

Bollywood’s adorable couple, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza tied the knot in February 2012, after being in a relationship for almost a decade. The celebs of the cinema world marked their Bollywood debut together in 2003 with ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’, during the shooting of which they fell in love. In November 2014, Riteish and Genelia welcomed their first child Riaan.

On the professional front, while Riteish has three big movie projects coming up in the form of ‘Housefull 3’, ‘Banjo’ and ‘Bank Chor’, Genelia’s last Bollywood film with a full-fledged role was ‘It’s My Life’ opposite Harman Baweja. The movie was shelved. Before that, Genelia’s notable Bollywood movie was ‘Force’ in 2011.
