Arjun Kapoor has been training hard for his role of a national level basketball player for ‘Half Girlfriend’. The Bollywood actor has been working closely with the international basketball team from USA, to perfect the sport. ‘Half Girlfriend’ is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s last novel by the same name. The movie will be directed by Mohit Suri and is one of the mush awaited romantic flicks. Arjun Kapoor’s character is called Madhav Jha and the Bollywood actor is gearing up to start shooting for the same from today. In a fresh onscreen pairing, Shraddha Kapoor will be seen opposite Arjun Kapoor in this love story. Full of big celebs and cinema world people, ‘Half Girlfriend’ is co-produced by Mohit Suri, Chetan Bhagat and Ekta Kapoor. The film is set for release in the summer of 2017.
‘Half Girlfriend’ will be Arjun Kapoor’s second film based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel, after he worked in ‘2 States’ back in 2014.
