Priyanka Chopra may not be in Mumbai but the celebrity actress is busy taking in more and more films under her production house Purple Pebble Pictures. An upcoming project under Priyanka Chopra’s production house is a Bengali-Marathi bilingual film, which will be based on the Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Interestingly, the film will explore not his celebrated life rather the first love of Tagore. With a historical background, the film on Rabindranath Tagore will feature a 17-year-old Tagore and his platonic relationship with 20 years old Annapurna. For those knowing little about the famous Indian poet, Tagore immortalised Annapurna in his poems by the name of Nalini during his stay in Mumbai. The Priyanka Chopra-produced film is reportedly titled ‘Nalini’ and will be directed by National Award winning director Ujjwal Chatterjee.
