Rumours have been rife for quite some time that Priyanka Chopra will step into the shoes of Indo-American astronaut Kalpana Chawla for a biopic on her. Production house Viacom 18 has apparently purchased the rights to make a biopic on the first woman of Indian origin to venture into space. However, they are not even looking for the leading lady, leave alone Priyanka Chopra. Buzz is that the makers are planning to first finalise the director for the project and only then will cast any Bollywood actress. So while Priyanka Chopra is still not on board for Kalpana Chawla biopic, the Bollywood actress continues to be busy with her Hollywood ventures. PeeCee is soon going to return to Mumbai and hit Bollywood with a big project. We wonder if the celebrity actress is banking on this strong female character of Kalpana Chawla.
