John Abraham has been busy working on his action image, but it seems like filmmaker Anees Bazmee has convinced he macho man of Bollywood to include a romantic comedy in his repertoire. Buzz suggests that John Abraham is all set to do a romantic comedy with the ‘Welcome Back’ director and Parineeti Chopra is one of the contenders to play the lead. While the news that Parineeti has been approached by the makers of this untitled project, and the actress is yet to give the nod is doing the rounds, her spokesperson has a different story to tell. “Some news has been doing the rounds of Parineeti Chopra and John Abraham coming together for Anees Bazmee’s next. To clarify, there is no truth to this whatsoever,” says Parineeti’s spokesperson. After ‘Dishoom’ and ‘Force 2’, this project will provide some comic relief to John’s otherwise action-packed career.
John Abraham is currently shooting for his home production ‘Parmanu – The Story of Pokhran’, which will feature the journey of the greatest nuclear espionage the world witnessed in 1998. While Parineeti Chopra, after the ill fate of ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ at the Box Office, is back on the sets of Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer ‘Golmaal Again’.
