Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed ‘Padmaavat’ has touched the Rs 280-crore mark in its fourth week of release at the box office and the makers were planning a big success bash. Apparently, producers Viacom 18 had scheduled a party coinciding with Bhansali’s 54th birthday tomorrow, falling on February 24 and had booked a luxurious ship for the same. However, the famed director has opted out of the celebrations citing sea sickness. ‘Padmaavat’s’ lead actor Shahid Kapoor too was to skip the success party as he had already planned to celebrate his birthday, on 25th February, with family at a spiritual outing at Beas. Shahid is shooting in Uttaranchal for ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’ from where he will directly go for his birthday plans. With unavailability of two celebs and cinema stars of ‘Padmaavat’, the success bash of the film stand cancelled as of now.
