Omung Kumar’s latest release, another biopic, ‘Sarbjit’ has received a lot of love from the audience but has also faced brickbats from the critics. However, the hopeful celebrity filmmaker states that he will make better cinema to impress the critics, “Criticism is a stepping stone of this journey to success. If you take it to heart then it will hurt. One should impress the critics with one’s work, so much so that they will have to praise you. It is true that a few people have criticised ‘Sarbjit’, but it is okay. There are lakhs of people who have unanimously loved the film. This is what matters more to us. I would have wished for those few critics also to love the film but maybe the next movie.”
At the Bollywood box office, ‘Sarbjit’ has made approximately Rs 20 crore in six days of its release. The film is faring moderately well at the box office.
