Salman Khan’s security rough up the paparazzi
Salman Khan is known to be a very friendly personality in Bollywood. A couple of years back, the actor was banned by the shutterbugs because of his security persons. Back in July 2014, the photographers imposed a ban on Sallu stating that they would boycott the actor till the release of his Bollywood film ‘Kick’. Salman Khan later invited all the lensmen to Arpita Khan’s wedding reception party, hosted in May 2015, after which things went smooth for the Bollywood star.

In his defence, Amitabh Bachchan had written a blog about the same in 2013. He had posted, “After an initial period of acknowledging my work, the entire press went against me, because they were informed by ‘sources’ that I had brought on the idea of the Emergency and a ban on the press! Nothing could have been more ridiculous. But they did not relent and banned me; no interviews, no mention or pictures, or even news of mine were ever printed in any form in the media during that time. So no ‘Deewar’ or ‘Sharabi’ or ‘Muquaddar Ka Sikander’, ‘Lawaaris’, ‘Natwarlal’, ‘Bemisal’ and so many, many others went blank, because the media had banned me.”

Not the one to take it lying down, the Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan retaliated by banning the media himself in return for 10-15 years. Apparently, no media persons or journalists were allowed on the sets of his movies. “I fell during ‘Coolie’ and there seemed to be a genuine concern from the media over my condition. Nari Hira, the owner of Stardust told me later they had wanted me to fail, but never wanted me to die. Things warmed up a bit after that and today they all have been acknowledged and accepted,” stated Big B’s post. Such are the ways of celebs and cinema world! Today, Bachchan is one of the biggest stars of Bollywood.
