Sidharth Malhotra is reeling under a series of box office flops, namely ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, ‘A Gentleman’, ‘Ittefaq’ and ‘Aiyaary’. However, it seems like mentor Karan Johar, who launched him with ‘Student of The Year’ in 2010, has come to his rescue. KJo recently announced a film on Kargil war hero Vikram Batra, with Sidharth playing the lead role of Sher Shah Vikram Batra. The filmmaker described the flick as “the true story of bravery and patriotism – the chronicles of Kargil war hero Vikram Batra”. Sidharth’s last hit, ‘Kapoor & Sons’, was a Dharma production and with this biopic, the actor has pocketed yet another project with the hit production house.
