The entire nation is praying for a speedy recovery of Siachen avalanche survivor Lance Naik Hanumanthappa Koppad. Karan Johar gets emotional while speaking about it, “It was exceptionally unfortunate. I was unable to see the environment there and all the difficulties that they had to go through. It was completely heart-breaking. My mother told me all the details, as she was also following it. Like every other mother in the country and all the citizens are entitled to pray, so did I. I really wish for his speedy recovery. God forbid anyone has to go through such conditions. It was truly heart-breaking and saddening to know and hear of what happened there.” Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur also expresses hope for the brave-heart as he says, “That shows the strength of human spirit, how far you can go to survive. Thank you Indian army for all the great work. Our best wishes to him and may he recover soon.”
