Kapil Sharma’s second Bollywood outing, ‘Firangi’, doesn’t seem to have impressed the audiences. According to trade buzz, ‘Firangi’ has had a low opening of just 15 percent in most regions, but thanks to Kapil’s popularity in North, an opening of 20 percent is recorded in Delhi and Punjab sectors. From the trailers it was evident that ‘Firangi’ is a love drama, with Kapil Sharma dishing out his witty comic side. The film has reportedly released on approximately 2,000 screens across the country and is made on a small budget. Predictions are that ‘Firangi’ will make approximately Rs 10 crore by its opening weekend at the box office. While the coming week is all for Kapil Sharma-starrer ‘Firangi’ to make the most, it will face some competition from Sunny Leone and Arbaaz Khan-starrer ‘Tera Intezaar’, which released on 1,150 screens.
