Kangana Ranaut in Chetan Bhagat’s One Indian Girl?

Kangana Ranaut has allegedly called up celeb writer Chetan Bhagat to cast her in ‘One Indian Girl’, if it is made into a Bollywood film

Kangana Ranaut’s next Bollywood outing seems to be an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s latest novel, ‘One Indian Girl’. Kangana Ranaut is known for playing bold female characters in cinema and has carried forward the trend of female-centric films. Hence the industry buzz says that Kangana has read the manuscript of ‘One India Girl’ and is much impressed by Chetan Bhagat’s strong female portrayal. Celebrity Kangana has allegedly asked the author that she would love to play the leading lady in the book’s Bollywood adaptation. Kangana Ranaut is currently busy shooting for Hansal Mehta’s ‘Simran’. If all goes well then the celeb actress may start shooting for ‘One Indian Girl’ by the end of 2017.

Chetan Bhagat’s ‘One Indian Girl’ is about a female investment banker, who earns a lot of money and have strong opinions on things. The book will officially be launched on October 1 and Kangana Ranaut could possibly be the celebrity guest.

Kangana Ranaut and ‘One Indian Girl’ aside, Chetan Bhagat in the meantime is accompanying the team of ‘Half Girlfriend’. This Bollywood film is an adaptation of another of his novels by the same name. The celeb author is currently in New York as Mohit Suri directs cinema stars Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor for the film.
