Kangana Ranaut is busy preparing for ‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi’, which was to be made by director Ketan Mehta earlier. The celebrity actress has apparently worked out a look for her royal character with another director, Krish. However, Kangana retorts that she is not involved in any other facet of the filmmaking. “I have collaborated for the script of ‘Simran’ and have contributed in other aspects of making too. But with ‘Manikarnika’, there has been no such discussion of my collaboration. The writer, Vijayendra sir (Vijayendra Prasad) and director Krish are doing their work. I didn’t feel that I could contribute as a writer or a director, hence I am not a part of all that. As a creative individual, I feel that I cannot contribute anything to ‘Manikarnika’ other than acting in it. So I stay out of it,” clarifies Kangana, putting many controversies to rest. Reports suggested that the actress was instrumental in dropping Ketan Mehta unceremoniously from ‘Manikarnika’ and involving Krish to helm the Bollywood film.
