Jiah Khan’s mother Rabia Khan had hired a British forensic expert Dr Jason Payne-James to probe her daughter’s suicide. Jason Payne-James’ report concludes that Jiah Khan’s suicide was staged and that the marks on her face and neck point clearly state that it is not a simple case of suicide. A leading tabloid Mumbai Mirror broke this story. Rabia Khan plans to share the findings with sessions court on Wednesday. However it remains to be seen whether this forensic report will be admissible or not. The British expert’s findings state that there are serious misinterpretations of medical evidence pointing at a possibility of a staged hanging. Jason Payne-James had taken into consideration CCTV grabs and pictures of Jiah Khan’s room, photographs of her body, medical and post-mortem reports as well. With all these evidences, the forensic expert came to a conclusion that Jiah Khan’s suicide could be staged.
