Imtiaz Ali has joined hands with Ekta Kapoor’s production house Balaji Motion Pictures to present a classic love story titled ‘Laila Majnu’, but with a contemporary twist. The ‘Rockstar’ director will be collaborating with Ekta on this film, which will mark directorial debut of Imtiaz’s brother Sajid Ali. ‘Laila Majnu’ has been shot at picturesque locations like Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Srinagar and features newcomers Avinash Tiwary and Deepthi. The film will hit the screens on May 4. While Imtiaz is busy promoting his brother’s debut, the acclaimed filmmaker is working on a love story of his own, which will feature Shahid Kapoor in the lead.
