The year 2017’s sleeper hit ‘Hindi Medium’ became so successful that the makers are now planning a sequel to the film with Irrfan Khan in the lead again
Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar-starrer ‘Hindi Medium’ received tremendous positive feedback and the makers are set to roll out a sequel to the 2017 sleeper hit. The second part will reportedly continue with Irrfan playing the rich businessman Raj Batra from Delhi. However, Pakistani actress Saba will be missing in action after the controversy of not casting Pakistani actors in Bollywood erupted. Producer Dinesh Vijan has been working on the story and the ‘Hindi Medium’ sequel will once again feature some reference to the Indian education system. The film will go on the floors in August and the makers may soon announce the cast which will include the characters of Irrfan’s wife and a teenage daughter.
