Shraddha Kapoor had a strong reason to take up the role of a powerful woman in her upcoming film ‘Haseena’. With the power-pact storyline and strong character of dreaded don Dawood’s sister Haseena Parkar, she couldn’t have let the film go. “I was engaged by the fact that it is a true story and this lady has gone through so much loss in her life. All this moved me a lot. Also, Apu sir (director Apoorva Lakhia) has given an interesting twist to the film. He has shown all the perspectives, from the family to the police. All the views encompassing every aspect are showcased in the film,” says Shraddha. While ‘Haseena’ is set to hit the screens on September 22, the actress has already moved on to do her next, which is a biopic titled ‘Saina’, based on Indian Badminton ace Saina Nehwal.
