Ajay Devgn and the team of ‘Baadshaho’ recently walked out of the sets of the TV programme ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ after the host failed to turn up for the film’s promotional shoot. Host Kapil Sharma and the show were later caught into the controversy and allegations of highhandedness flew around. However, while promoting ‘Baadshaho’ at another event, Ajay Devgn clarified that he was not sure why Kapil Sharma did not make it to the sets. “We left because he had not reached. I don’t know what happened. I will come to know about things when I speak to him next,” stated the actor. Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz, Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta were scheduled to promote ‘Baadshaho’ on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ but had to leave without starting the shoot due to Kapil’s unexplained absence.

Rumours are rife that Kapil Sharma was partying late night on the day before the shoot and hence could not honour his professional commitment. In the past, stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Paresh Rawal and Arjun Rampal have left the sets without shooting for their episodes when Kapil Sharma couldn’t be on the sets on time for various reasons. While the stand-up comedian was once hospitalised due to low blood pressure, there have been various other reasons for his absence from the shoot.

Buzz suggests that Sony channel, where ‘The Kapil Shama Show’ is aired, has issued a warning to Kapil Sharma to control the cancellations. The channel had recently extended the stand-up comedian’s contract after much deliberation. However, after the Ajay Devgn and ‘Baadshaho’ episode (read controversy) with Kapil Sharma, the channel heads might be rethinking their decision about the show’s fate.
