Fawad Khan, coming from across the border, has received lot of love in India. The actor has become a Bollywood heartthrob and will soon be seen romancing Alia Bhatt in ‘Kapoor & Sons’. Fawad shares his experience of shooting and working in India, “Whenever I have come here, I have experienced tremendous love and hospitality. All Indians have given me such a lovely and warm welcome. Wherever I have gone, it is like a family, an amazing experience. I do miss my family but these guys make up for it,” pointing towards his industry colleagues.
Working with some of the top names of Bollywood, Fawad is one of those few lucky ones to have crossed the artistic border successfully. Bollywood’s brush with the neighbouring country is nothing new. While popular singer Adnan Sami is of Pakistan origin and was recently granted Indian citizenship, musical maestro Ghulam Ali’s concert in the country was subjected to a lot of controversies. Anupam Kher too has been making headlines for his visit to Pakistan being barred by not granting him a visa.
