Emraan Hashmi’s mother, Maherahh Hashmi breathed her last today afternoon. She was admitted to the Hinduja Healthcare Surgical in Khar, Mumbai. Maherahh Hashmi was suffering from cancer, producer-director Mukesh Bhatt confirmed the same to a daily. She was Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt’s sister-in-law.
Emraan was apparently not in the country when he received the news. Emraan Hashmi, who will soon be seen in Bollywood biopic ‘Azhar’, was shooting for another Bollywood project, ‘Raaz Reboot’ in Romania.
Dropping everything at hand, bereaved Emraan immediately left to reach Mumbai when he came to know about his mother’s demise.
