‘Veere Di Wedding’ boasts of a starry cast, with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and producer Ekta Kapoor. But the producer denies terming ‘Veere Di Wedding’ as a ‘chick-flick’. “If you call ‘Veere Di Wedding’ a chick-flick then it would steal the essence of the film. It is a girl-bonding film. ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is about friendship and it has a lot of layers. All girls around the world will feel a sense of pride after watching the film,” quips Ekta Kapoor. ‘Veere Di Wedding’ will be Kareena’s first film after giving birth to Taimur Ali Khan a year ago. The team has been shooting for the film in Delhi as ‘Veere Di Wedding’ hits the screens on May 18, 2018.
