Shah Rukh Khan is joyous at the swelling Box Office collection of his last release, ‘Dear Zindagi’. The celebrities filled Bollywood film has made over Rs 50 crore at the ticket windows
Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Dear Zindagi’ hit the screens on November 25 and recorded an opening Box Office collection of Rs 8.75 crore. The film went on to make Rs 32.50 crore at the end of its first weekend at the Bollywood Box Office. Vidya Balan’s ‘Kahaani 2’ hit the screens last Friday, but ‘Dear Zindagi’ is facing little competition from the thriller on the ticket windows. The shows of ‘Dear Zindagi’ recorded a considerable growth and the film collected Rs 52.75 crore at the end of nine days. “I am very happy that it has turned out well. I was very scared, that I should make sure that I stand up to people’s expectations. I am very happy that I could,” says Shah Rukh Khan speaking about the ‘Dear Zindagi’s’ success joyously. Despite ‘Kahaani 2’ releasing a week later, there seems to be hardly any dent in the Box Office collections of ‘Dear Zindagi’. The Gauri Shinde directed Bollywood film, full of celebs and cinema world’s stars, is only expected to do better in the coming days.
