Censor Board bans Begum Jaan Vidya Balan from abusing!

Keeping in tune with its current image, Censor Board has awarded 12 cuts and ‘A’ certificate to Vidya Balan starrer ‘Begum Jaan’

Vidya Balan’s upcoming partition drama, ‘Begum Jaan’ has faced some brutal cuts from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Vidya Balan plays the role of a brothel madam in this Bollywood film and mouths several abuses and bold dialogues. But the CBFC has instructed to chop off several such scenes. Profanities, abuses and communal violence sequences have been moderated by the Censor Board, and in all 12 cuts have been ordered, with the film being awarded an ‘A’ certificate. ‘Begum Jaan’ is directed by Srijit Mukherjee, who was also the director of the original Bengali version of the film titled ‘Raj Kahini’. Vidya Balan starrer ‘Begum Jaan’ will release on April 14.
