One of the top most Bollywood celebrities, cinema star Aamir Khan began the trend of the Rs 100 crore club with ‘Ghajini’. Aamir Khan successfully carried on his created legacy with hits like ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’, being the first two Bollywood films to collect Rs 200 and Rs 300 crores respectively. And his last release, ‘Dangal’ has collected Rs 346 crores in just 17 days, and still counting. ‘Dangal’ is expected to be the first Bollywood film to cross Rs 350 crore in domestic market and hence will become one of the highest grossing Hindi films. The entertainment industry buzz suggests that Aamir Khan’s upcoming project, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ too will set a new record at the Bollywood Box Office. While the film is yet to go on the floors, expectations are high with two powerhouse performers, celebs and cinema stars Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan coming together in this Yash Raj Films’ project. Hence the entertainment industry awaits with bated breath whether ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ will break ‘Dangal’s’ Box Office record and in how much time.
