Boman Irani sang at the Spirit of Hope concert for the Shillong Chamber choir. Sharing his experience Boman said, “I have not had any formal training in music but I love singing. This is the third time I have sung for them. I got introduced to them through a common friend. This year I sang two songs – ‘White Christmas’ with the children and a solo, ‘Love Changes Everything’. I came for the finale too. While I don’t get nervous on stage, I get pre-stage jitters instead which is good as the energy challenges you to perform your best. It felt like a mental cleansing for me and you feel like a better person.”

The passionate singer adds that while he does enjoying singing and being on stage, he has no plans of professional singing in films. “I have too much on my plate right now and music is a full-time commitment.”
