Arjun Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor are all set to appear together on Karan Johar’s popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’. In its sixth season now, KJo will reportedly shoot the ‘Koffee With Karan 6’ episode with the Kapoor kids in the coming week. Step-siblings, Arjun and Janhvi became close after the sudden demise of Boney Kapoor’s second wife Sridevi in February this year. ‘Koffee With Karan’ has always been in the limelight for controversial statements made on the couch and something similar is expected to happen with the Kapoors too. While Arjun is a close friend of Karan, Janhvi’s acting debut ‘Dhadak’ was backed by Johar’s Dharma Productions. Arjun is currently awaiting the release of ‘Namaste England’, while Janhvi is preparing for Karan’s directorial ‘Takht’.
Back in February this year, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma too were rumoured to appear on ‘Koffee With Karan 6’. But the actress’ PR person denied it terming the news as “rumours”. The last season of ‘Koffee With Karan’ was aired in 2016-17 and gave immense leverage to the term ‘nepotism’ along with providing fodder for a mighty debate in Bollywood, which lasted for long. It is being said that the makers are hoping to cash in on the controversy even this time around. Hence, people are waiting for the appearance of Arjun and Janhvi Kapoor on ‘Koffee With Karan 6’ with bated breath.
