Last year, Anurag Kashyap delivered a huge dud at the Bollywood box office in the form of ‘Bombay Velvet’. While the movie was touted to meet great expectations, when it released ‘Bombay Velvet’ simply sent everyone’s careers downhill. A modest Anurag Kashyap accepts his the fiasco, “I think when a film fails, it is 100 percent the director’s fault. So if ‘Bombay Velvet’ didn’t work, it was entirely my fault because the director is the only one who has the power to say a no; where I could have refused and taken a stand, I didn’t. If the movie would have done well then it would be everyone’s contribution but since it didn’t, it’s my fault.” The filmmaker is now coming up with another much anticipated movie, ‘Raman Raghan 2.0’.

On asking Anurag Kashyap if he is back with some hits, he says, “I am still here, not gone anywhere. When someone says, ‘He’s back!’, I wonder why. I have just come from Yari Road to Versova (two nearby suburbs in Mumbai). I still stay in the same home, work from the same office and will remain the same person.”
