Ankita Lokhande to debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati?

Here’s some hottest news out of the Bollywood town. If tales are to be believed then Ankita Lokhande is soon set to debut with the Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie ‘Padmavati’. According to a report on BollywoodLife, Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande dropped into Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office SLB Films with her portfolio in pocket. This has fanned rumours that Ankita might as well grab a debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’.
If all goes well then Ankita Lokhande will join the cast of ‘Padmavati’ comprising of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. ‘Padmavati’ is a historical movie depicting Allauddin Khilji’s love for Mewar ki Rani Padmavati. While Deepika will play the role of Padmavati, Ranveer Singh is slated to portray the ruthless second ruler of the Khilji dynasty in the form of Allauddin Khilji. If things fall in place then Ranveer will play the grey character. Amidst all this, Ankita Lokhande’s role in ‘Padmavati’ still remains unclear. Apart from Ranveer, Deepika and Ankita, Vicky Kaushal too may join the cast of ‘Padmavati’. Ironically, the Bollywood movie was first offered to Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan before Ranveer Singh lapped it up. And now as the casting gains momentum, Ankita Lokhande being the latest entrant, ‘Padmavati’ is gradually getting packed with celebs and cinema world stars.
