In a fresh pairing for the silver screen, Aditya Roy Kapur will be seen romancing Katrina Kaif in ‘Fitoor’. Since the film is based in Kashmir, the two actors had to get their language correct. “I took some diction classes with Katrina. The language that I am using in the film is not that tough as my Hindi is not that bad. It is just a few words here and there which I struggled with, but did it with a few classes,” reveals Aditya. The film is an adaptation of the novel by Charles Dickens, ‘Great Expectations’, but has its own twists and turns. Aditya stated that he refrained from reading the novel, before doing ‘Fitoor’. “I have not read the book because I just wanted to read the script and derive everything from there. If I was going to read the book then I would be looking for things that weren’t there in the script. So for me the script was the bible and I took everything from there,” says Aditya. It will be interesting to see Aditya and Katrina talking in Kashmiri.
