Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor’s real life father, will now play her dad on the silver screen for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s sister Shelly’s film, which is titled ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. This slice-of-life film will also bring together the ‘Loafer’ ‘jodi’ of Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla. Juhi will play Sonam’s mother. Reports suggest that Rajkummar Rao may also be cast in the film. Anil Kapoor is already playing the father to his son Harshvardhan Kapoor in the Abhinav Bindra biopic and now he is set to turn onscreen father to his stylish daughter Sonam too. For now, Sonam is busy with ‘Veere Di Wedding’ while Anil Kapoor recently announced his association with ‘Race 3’, the shooting of which is underway.
