Amitabh Bachchan with Salman Khan for this movie -

Amitabh Bachchan has been approached to play an important role in Salman Khan-starrer ‘Race 3’, and the legendary actor is supposedly excited to be a part of the thriller franchise and to join Sallu. Salman and Bachchan senior have worked together in films like ‘Baghban’, ‘Baabul’ and 2008 release ‘God Tussi Great Ho’. While Salman’s ex-love Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is married to Abhishek Bachchan, Big B seems to have no hesitation sharing the frame with Sallu.

This time around, the ‘Race 3’ franchise is helmed by another director, Remo D’Souza, while Abbas-Mustan did the job in the first two parts. With change in filmmaker, Remo has managed to bring in another set of glamorous cast of Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and now even Amitabh Bachchan! Buzz suggests that Saif Ali Khan, who played the lead in the first two parts, was approached to play the second lead in ‘Race 3’ but he turned down the offer.

Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez are set to begin the shooting of ‘Race 3’ in Mumbai in October and then move to several international locations. Bachchan’s availability is yet unknown.
