While a lot of Bollywood celebs have lauded Marathi cinema, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan too expresses his support to this growing world of cinema. He says, “Marathi cinema is doing really great since the past few years. With the kind of films being made, the stories, the actors, it is really amazing. I hope that it reaches even greater heights. The taste of the audience is changing and everyone wants to watch good movies.” When Bachchan was asked if he would do any Marathi films in the future, the actor revealed, “In my upcoming film, ‘Sarkar 3’, I am speaking a lot of Marathi,” saying he will have to mouth many Marathi dialogues. Amitabh Bachchan has already commenced shooting for the third part of the Ram Gopal Varma directed political drama ‘Sarkar 3’.
