Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for Covid-19 and he confirmed the same on his Twitter account. Bachchan is admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Vile Parle, Mumbai. “I have tested Covid-19 positive and have shifted to a hospital. They are informing the authorities. My family and staff have undergone tests and their results awaited. All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested!” shared the actor on his social media handle. According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to Nanavati Hospital a few hours ago and is undergoing extensive tests.

All through lockdown, Amitabh Bachchan had been busy shooting for promos at home for the next season of his popular TV show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. During lockdown, the actor had also shot for several Covid-19 awareness clips and even kept fans entertained with numerous posts on Instagram and Twitter.

Big B was last seen in ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, which had an OTT release – on Amazon Prime. Up next, Shahenshah will be seen in a pivotal role in ‘Brahmastra’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Bachchan will also be seen in thriller flick ‘Chehre’ and Nagraj Manjule’s sports drama ‘Jhund’.
