A sequel to the 2002 thriller ‘Aankhen’ was announced a couple of years ago. The film was to star Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Arshad Warsi. Although the flick was shelved back then, latest buzz suggests that the makers are finally reviving the project. ‘Aankhen 2’ will be directed by Anees Bazmee and will now feature Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The team is chalking out a plan to bring this enormous cast together. Back in 2016, when the sequel was announced, ‘Aankhen 2’ landed in legal soup as Rajtaru Studios had the remake rights while producer Gaurang Doshi had announced the sequel.
