Alia Bhatt has denied that she has signed Rohit Shetty directed ‘Golmaal 4’. While Kareena Kapoor Khan opted out of Rohit Shetty-Ajay Devgn’s comedy series ‘Golmaal’ due to her pregnancy, rumours were rife of her replacement. Alia Bhatt, who considers Kareena as her icon, was speculated to be the final choice for ‘Golmaal 4’. However, recently when Alia was asked about signing up Rohit Shetty’s comedy franchise full of celebs and cinema world stars, the actress reacted with a straight and simple “no”. It comes as a surprise that the ‘2 States’ actress is not a part of the fourth film in the ‘Golmaal’ series keeping in mind that it was widely reported that the deal was final. Apart from Alia Bhatt, the other name being associated to ‘Golmaal 4’ was that of Deepika Padukone, who has worked with Rohit Shetty in ‘Chennai Express’. Deepika is working on her Hollywood debut ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage’ and is also rumoured to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next magnum opus ‘Padmavati’. It remains to be seen whether Dippy will be able to squeeze in the popular comedy franchise ‘Golmaal 4’ or will the makers find another starlet after Alia Bhatt’s no.
