Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of Swachh Bharat Mission-themed ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’. However, Akki is looking forward to take up an even bigger issue with his next, ‘PadMan’, which might release next year. “‘PadMan’ speaks about sanitary pads which is a big taboo subject, much bigger than what is in ‘Toilet’. It is a very sad thing that 91 percent of Indian women don’t use pads because they cannot afford it. All the stories that I heard, the film just speaks about that,” reveals the actor. Speaking about the motivation behind encouraging initiatives for women and making female-centric films, Akshay added, “At home I have my mother, wife, daughter, mother-in-law and my wife’s grandmother. So I am all surrounded by women. I get a lot of inspiration from them.”
