Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again races towards Rs 200 crore
Having collected Rs 197 crore in a little over two weeks, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Golmaal Again’ is inching towards Rs 200 crore at the box office
Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s comic franchise, ‘Golmaal Again’ has hit gold at the box office. The multi-starrer Bollywood film collected Rs 135 crore in its first week of release, moving to a strong collection of Rs 46 crore in its second week. ‘Golmaal Again’ has made an extraordinary business, being one of the highest grossing films released during the festive season of Diwali. Having already made an impressive Rs 197 crore in more than two weeks, predictions are that ‘Golmaal Again’ will collect an impressive figure of Rs 208 crore at the end of its box office run. As ‘Golmaal Again’ cruises towards Rs 200 crore, thriller ‘Ittefaq’, which released last week, has collected a meagre Rs 17 crore in four days, not making much dent in the former’s business.
Rohit Shetty returned with his ‘Golmaal’ team, comprising many celebs and cinema stars, after a gap of almost seven years and the filmmaker is still hopeful to come back with a fifth part in the successful franchise.
