Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai to work together in Gulab Jamun?
Celebs and cinema stars, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have supposedly read and liked the script of Phantom Films’ ‘Gulab Jamun’ but are yet to sign on the dotted line. Amitabh Bachchan to could play a cameo in this Bollywood film
Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan may well grace the silver screen together once again. According to some Bollywood insiders, Phantom Films has approached these celebs and Hindi cinema’s dynamic duo with a romantic comedy titled ‘Gulab Jamun’. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have already read and liked the script but are yet to sign on the dotted line. But hold your breath. There is more sweetness in this ‘Gulab Jamun’. Amitabh Bachchan too has been roped in to play an important cameo in this light hearted film. Abhishek and Aishwarya were last seen in a Bollywood film together when they did Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’ in 2010, which tanked at the Box Office. But Phantom Films, a collaboration between Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and Madhu Mantena, is all set to revive the chemistry of this real life couple, Abhi-Ash.
Apart from ‘Gulab Jamun’, Abhishek Bachchan is currently working on ‘Lefty’ with Prabhu Dheva while Aishwarya Rai was last seen in 2016’s Diwali release ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.
