Aamir Khan turned 51 today and wants to be by his mother Zeenat Hussain’s side on his birthday. The actor landed in Mumbai at 4 am on Monday, so that he could spend some quality time with family.

This year, Aamir Khan reveals his special wish, a dream which he hopes to turn into a reality soon. “My biggest wish this year is for my mother. She was born in Benaras and has spent her childhood there. I wish to buy her home back and gift it to her. I hope that at this age she can go back to her childhood days,” admits Aamir. The actor has already visited the place and is hoping to seal the deal soon. Aamir adds, “Benaras is a very beautiful and historical place. I had visited the place some time ago and have been thinking to buy the house since some time. I am requesting those people staying there to let me buy the home. This is my biggest wish for this year.”

The Bollywood actor has been sleepless, as he landed in Mumbai after a 32 hours long flight. But Aamir Khan greeted the media on his birthday with a lot of energy and even cut a cake with great enthusiasm, almost a ritual that he follows every year.

His first birthday wish for the day came from his four year old toddler Azad Rao. “Kiranji (wife Kiran Rao) and Azad were the first ones to wish me. I was just lying in my bedroom when Azad came to me and wished me. Also, what T-shirt I am wearing today was a painting made by Azad, Kiran printed it on a T-shirt for me,” says the proud father putting his celeb status aside.

On the work front, Aamir is currently working on his Bollywood flick ‘Dangal’.
