Aamir Khan has stopped signing any new films under other banners and will rather concentrate on a mega project with his home production is what we had informed our readers earlier. A recent update in the news is that Aamir Khan will dedicate the next decade of his career to a series based on the Hindu mythology and Sanskrit epic, Mahabharat. Trade buzz suggests that Aamir is keen to play the role of Lord Krishna in the Mahabharat, despite the fact that the character of Karna is his favourite. For now, Aamir is busy shooting for ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ in Thailand, but once that wraps-up, the actor will dive deep into the story and the script for magnum opus Mahabharat under his home production Aamir Khan Films. Aamir Khan will initially only act and produce the film, but he also plans to eventually turn director. The first film in the Mahabharat series will apparently be helmed by Advait Chandan, who was also the director of ‘Secret Superstar’.
