South cinema’s celeb Rajinikanth and team announced the release of ‘2.0’ in Diwali 2017. If that would have happened, a big clash between Ajay Devgn and Rajinikanth was inevitable as the former’s ‘Golmaal 4’ was slated during the same time. The news coming out of the Bollywood stable now suggests that Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn have decided to avoid this clash and may shift the release of their comedy flick ‘Golmaal 4’ to Republic Day of 2018. This means a considerable three months postponement from the original plan of release. It is yet unknown if Ajay Devgn and team are running behind schedule to complete their film or this is specially to avoid the clash with Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’. To avoid clash, advancing or postponing projects are usually done by a week or two, and not by months together. Another possibility to postpone ‘Golmaal 4’ to January 26, 2018 is to cash-in on the long weekend. It is also being said that after experiencing the fight between ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Shivaay’, Ajay doesn’t want another Box Office blunder. ‘Golmaal 4’ will be a multi-starrer and director Rohit Shetty is planning to shoot the film, full of celebs and cinema star, extensively in Ooty.
