Newest father in B-Town, Shahid Kapoor will soon start shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming magnum opus ‘Padmavati’. Shahid Kapoor plays the character of Raja Ratan Singh in this Bollywood movie. An excited Shahid says, “I am yet to join the shoot of ‘Padmavati’. I will begin shooting in two weeks from now. It is an honour to work with Mr Bhansali. I love his films, he is a fantastic filmmaker.” Shahid will play the Rajput husband of Rani Padmavati, the character which is portrayed by Deepika Padukone. His character, Raja Ratan Singh, goes to war against Alauddin Khilji, played by Ranveer Singh. “I am very excited about the role that I have been offered.
